Peace in the Storm

This message from Mark 4 brings us into the storm where Jesus sleeps in the boat while the disciples panic. It reveals two kinds of peace: the peace that comes when God calms the storm, and the deeper peace—shalom—that comes from knowing He is with us in it. Jesus rested not because the storm was gone, but because He knew the outcome and trusted the promise, “Let us go to the other side.”
When we forget what God has promised, we lose peace. But in every storm—financial, relational, physical, or emotional—we can experience true shalom by anchoring ourselves to His Word, staying in His presence, and trusting His authority over it all.
