All Authority

This journey through Mark’s Gospel confronts Christianity’s core question: who is Jesus, really? Mark pushes us beyond seeing Jesus as a good teacher or moral example and into the reality that He is Lord. Through moments where Jesus teaches with authority, forgives sins, and casts out demons, we see a power only God possesses—even demons recognize who He is. Yet knowledge alone isn’t enough; true faith means surrender. Jesus didn’t come to borrow authority from Satan, but to defeat him, reclaim what was lost, and break his power forever through the cross. Now, as His church, we live as ambassadors of a victorious King, carrying His authority into every place we go. The question isn’t whether Jesus has authority—it’s whether we’ll live like He’s given it to us.
