Finish The Fight
Mar 1, 2026 • Jarrod McClintick
In this exploration of Mark 6 and 7, we see that faithfulness doesn’t happen by accident—it must be fought for. Jesus faced rejection, grief, discouragement, and exhaustion, yet He refused to be defined by who rejected Him or derailed by hardship. When His hometown dismissed Him and when He mourned John the Baptist, He turned to solitude with the Father and kept moving forward in obedience. His example challenges our tendency to quit when things get hard, reminding us that endurance requires surrender, not striving. If we want to finish well, we need what He modeled: intentional time with God, authentic community, and consistent prayer—essential tools for lasting faithfulness.
