Genesis shows work wasn’t a curse but a gift—God gave humanity purpose and meaningful responsibility in paradise. Even rest was part of His design, not from fatigue but to model a divine rhythm.

We’re challenged to see that work isn’t our identity and rest isn’t escape. The goal isn’t balance but rhythm—where work flows from God’s blessing and rest brings us back to Him. When we trust that God keeps working even when we stop, both our work and rest become sacred acts that shape us and draw us closer to Him.
