Rest For The Restless

This message from Matthew 6:25–33 invites us to examine what we’re really carrying. Worry isn’t just an emotion—it’s a weight that shapes us. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus spoke to anxious hearts, reminding us that if God cares for birds and lilies, He surely cares for us. The truth is simple: worry and worship can’t coexist. When rest doesn’t restore us, it’s often because we’re holding what God meant to carry. The call isn’t to rest more, but to release more—trusting the One who sustains us. Jesus challenges us to let Christ, not chaos, set the rhythm of our lives: “Seek first the kingdom of God.”
